Terms and Conditions
1) Scope
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the FitPrepster web app, available at fitprepster.app. The provider is Malte Schimmer, c/o Adressgeber #2039, An der Alten Ziegelei 38, 48157 Muenster, Germany.
FitPrepster is intended for consumers. Deviating terms of users do not apply unless their validity has been expressly agreed.
2) Service description
FitPrepster is a digital application for saving, converting, and using your own recipes. Users can enter recipe texts, recipe URLs, photos, or screenshots with recipe text and use AI support to generate cooking steps, device notes, portions, and estimated nutrition values.
The app also offers functions for a recipe library, guided cooking, weekly planning, and nutrition, calorie, and weight tracking.
Photo and screenshot functions first create a draft that can be checked. Images are not stored permanently. Recognized texts, ingredients, and recipe drafts must be checked by users before further use.
3) User account
A user account is required to save recipes and use protected app areas. Users must provide accurate information during registration and protect access credentials and login methods carefully.
The user account must not be misused or made available to third parties.
4) Costs and payment functions
FitPrepster may offer free and paid functions. The specific scope of services, price, billing period, term, and cancellation conditions are shown separately before a paid subscription is concluded.
The Premium offer is provided as a monthly or yearly subscription. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise shown during checkout. Payment is processed through Stripe Checkout. Payment details, invoices, and depending on the Stripe setup also subscription details can be managed in the Stripe customer portal. For ordinary cancellation, FitPrepster additionally provides its own online cancellation flow.
Access to Premium functions is enabled after successful payment confirmation or after Stripe transmits the payment or subscription status. If payment is not made, a subscription ends, or the subscription loses its active status, access to Premium functions may be restricted again.
Saved recipes, nutrition tracker entries, and profile details generally remain available after cancellation or downgrade. Only access to paid functions may cease. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
5) User obligations
Users agree to use FitPrepster only lawfully.
- Only content that the user is entitled to use may be entered.
- Illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inadmissible content must not be processed.
- The app must not be misused, overloaded by automation, or used to bypass technical protection measures.
- AI results, nutrition information, and device notes must be checked by users before use.
6) Recipe, AI, and nutrition information
The cooking steps, device parameters, portions, calories, and nutrition values generated by FitPrepster are created automatically and may contain errors. They are not binding information.
Users are responsible for checking and, where necessary, adjusting ingredients, allergens, doneness, device suitability, temperatures, cooking times, serving sizes, and nutrition values.
7) Health and nutrition notes
FitPrepster is a cooking and nutrition tracking app. The app is not a medical device and does not replace medical, therapeutic, psychological, or nutritional medical advice.
Calorie targets, goal notes, recipe assessments, and nutrition information are for general orientation only. If you have health questions, illnesses, pregnancy, eating disorders, or special nutritional needs, seek qualified professional advice.
8) Device notes and safety
Device-related notes are cooking aids only. They do not replace the manual, safety instructions, or manufacturer information for the relevant device. Users must check for themselves whether an instruction is safe and suitable for their specific device.
9) Brand and manufacturer notes
Manufacturer, product, and brand names are mentioned only for factual description of compatibility and device categories. All brands and product names belong to their respective rights holders. FitPrepster is independent and is not affiliated with the manufacturers mentioned.
10) Availability and changes
We strive to operate FitPrepster reliably. However, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Functions may be developed further, changed, restricted, or discontinued where this is required for security, stability, product development, or legal requirements.
11) Blocking and deletion
In the event of violations of these terms, misuse, security risks, or illegal use, user accounts may be temporarily blocked or deleted. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Users can trigger deletion of their account in the profile themselves if no active Stripe subscription exists and no subscription is still running until the end of a billing period. Alternatively, deletion can be requested at any time by email to support@fitprepster.app. If there is an active subscription, we first clarify cancellation or subscription status so that account and payment data do not diverge.
12) Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. In the event of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to the typical foreseeable damage.
Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
13) Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumer protection provisions of the country in which the user has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
